PFC Equipment – Automatic Standard (FS Range)

Our FS range of standard automatic Power Factor Correction Equipment Incorporating high quality, long life metallized polypropylene capacitors (480V rated) with over pressure disconnection devices and discharge resistors. Automatically controlled via an integral multiple stage microprocessor based reactive control relay with digital power factor indication.

PFC Equipment Automatic Standard (T-Type)

Our T-Type range of standard automatic Power Factor Correction Equipment Incorporating high quality, long life metallized polypropylene capacitors (480V rated) with over pressure disconnection devices and discharge resistors. Automatically controlled via an integral multiple stage microprocessor based reactive control relay with digital power factor indication.

Suited for smaller installations, this unit is perfect for wall mounting and can be rated up to 50kVAr

PFC Equipment – Automatic Detuned (FSi Range)

Our FSI Range of automatic de-tuned Power Factor Correction Equipment Incorporating high quality, long life metallized polypropylene capacitors (480V rated) with over pressure disconnection devices and discharge resistors. Each stage comes with its own appropriately rated de-tuning reactor all automatically controlled via an integral multiple stage microprocessor based reactive control relay with digital power factor indication.

Power Factor Correction – Modules

SBA Trays – Standard Automatic Module

Our custom built SBA type automatic Power Factor Correction modules incorporating high quality, long life metallized polypropylene capacitors (480V rated) with over pressure disconnection devices and discharge resistors.

Each tray can be arranged in a variety of stage size customed to your requirements, utilizing soft switching contactors and protected by suitably rated HRC fuses on DIN bases.

SBF Trays – Standard Fixed Module

Our custom built SBF type automatic Power Factor Correction modules incorporating high quality, long life metallized polypropylene capacitors (480V rated) with over pressure disconnection devices and discharge resistors.

Each module built onto a CM tray with a KM8 termination block for main connection.

AM Trays – Standard Automatic Module

Reaching up to 50kVAr per module, the custom AM tray assemblies are made up of high quality, long life metallized polypropylene capacitors (480V rated) with over pressure disconnection devices and discharge resistors, all pre-wired onto a metal base with a 90° mounting bracket.

AP Trays – Standard Automatic Module

Much like the AM tray, the AP tray can hold up to 50kVAr per module, the custom AP tray assemblies are made up of high quality, long life metallized polypropylene capacitors (480V rated) with over pressure disconnection devices and discharge resistors, all pre-wired onto a metal frame designed for rear mounting into existing PFC cubicles.

PN Trays – Detuned Automatic Module

Our custom built PN type automatic Power Factor Correction modules incorporating high quality, long life metallized polypropylene capacitors (480V rated) with over pressure disconnection devices and discharge resistors. Each module comes with its own appropriately rated de-tuning reactor.

PFC Equipment Fixed Standard (C & CB Type)

The C & CB type capacitor modules are designed for local correction of individual loads, such as single motors, starters, or control gear where Power Factor Correction is more appropriately located at the source.

The CB type incorporates an integral Circuit Breaker for independent isolation and overload protection

LKT Capacitor Range

Our LKT range of Frako capacitors are made using high quality, long life metallized polypropylene along with self-healing capacitor film and overpressure disconnection.

Theses capacitors are available in a verity of kVAr outputs and Voltage ratings so please feel free to contact us regarding your specific requirements.

IMO Soft Switching Contactor Range

Ranging from 12.5kVAr up to 100kVAr, the IMO MC contactor range can be used with both reactive and non-reactive capacitor banks. The compact design includes easy Din rail mounting as well as early make contacts and damping resistors to help prolong the life of both contactor and capacitor bank.

De-tuning Reactors

Used in conjunction with the LKT 480V type capacitors can be used on sites where the harmonic distortion is above the recommend 3%VTHD to prevent further distortion when capacitors are brought into circuit.

Each reactor needs to be rated the same as the capacitor banks to prevent resonant frequencies from moving into a critical range that could have adverse effects on components and other control systems.

Lovato Digital Control Relays – DCRL Range

The DCRL range of automatic Power Factor Correction controllers include a LCD display and can be expanded up to 14 stages. Additional modules can be connected for integration in BMS systems along with an Optic interface port for programming, data download and diagnostics.

DCRG Range

The DCRG range follows on with all the abilities of the DCRL controllers but with the option to connect C.Ts and voltage references for all 3 phases and neutral providing a more in depth view of not just the PFC equipment its controlling but also full details of the site load it is monitoring.
